History is told by the victor, so there is no surprise the conversation is the same after 70+ yrs of occupation. Visual media influences our communities, how we act, what we consume, how we dress, what we believe in, etc. By juxtaposing the original text with personal archives, I want demonstrate the power images have and how they shift our perspective.
